Daniel finished his first year of preschool on June 5th. When Becca asked about the "graduation and celebration" on the calendar, Miss "Gin-ya" (Virginia) said that it was just a small little party. So we were thinking, well Daniel's not actually graduating so we don't need to be there. Oh we were so dead wrong. When Becca brought him he was all upset that everyone's parent's were there and we weren't. Luckily, at that time I had lunch and my conference period back to back and Matt was on lunch during a training he had that day so when I got the text message, we bolted over there. We missed a lot of it but he was better when he saw us. We felt sooooooo bad! Worst parents of the year award. But Becca was there and documented it all for us. They sang a song, not a note of which Daniel sang, and then they called the students up one by one and they read a little thing about their year at school while they stood on a table. We got there just in time for the slide show with a bunch of pictures from the year. It was super cute. Afterwards, they had some snacks and Daniel got to get his memory book and take pictures with his teachers. We are super glad Daniel likes his preschool and are grateful for how much he is learning there.
